TR General Manager, Ray Hill Update
General Manager, Ray Hill is doing well with cancer therapy that includes radiation treatments through the end of August and chemo treatments through the end of September. Ray is working every day around his treatment schedule. All projects are on track and the park is humming with activity.
Recycling Program at Travelers Rest
The Travelers Rest Waste Management Volunteers are moving ahead with plans for implementing a recycle program at TR. The team is developing a communication message to residents and determining how volunteers can help make the recycle program a success. Stay tuned for more information.
Dog Park Update
Dog Park upgrades are in progress. The covered bench seating area has concrete beneath the benches and the ground surrounding the bench area has been regraded and has new sod so rain runs away from the seating area.
Golf Cart Path Repair Update
Golf cart path repairs/repaving should be completed by the end of August.
Updated Travelers Rest Policies Available
The board approved updated policies that are now available on the Travelers Rest website. You can access them from the Resident’s Dashboard or by clicking here.
Crime Prevention Education Seminars
The board is working with the Pasco County Sheriff to develop a schedule for Crime Prevention Education Seminars for residents this coming season.
Travelers Rest Garden Walkway Complete
The three-year project to repair and replace the walkway in the Travelers Rest Garden is completed!
Off Season Lawn Care
Reminder: Residents are required to trim and weed their sites in the “off season” even though the park mows sites that are not occupied full time. There are sites that are regularly trimmed and weeded but some sites have not been weeded or trimmed in several months.
Travelers Rest Strategic Plan
At every meeting, the board reviews progress towards completing the Travelers Rest Strategic Plan. Presently, all objectives are on time and on track.
