Events for Residents & Guests

Entertainment at Travelers Rest

A stay at Travelers Rest RV Resort & Golf Course includes many opportunities for top-notch stage entertainment. We have two entertainment venues: Busch Hall – our concert hall with professional stage, sound, lighting, Yamaha grand piano and Allen theatre organ; and The Grove – a casual outdoor stage where you can bring a picnic and a lawn chair and enjoy music in the shade of our live oak trees.

Friday Afternoon Live is presented by Doc and Donna Probes, outstanding vocalists and instrumentalists that make their home here and volunteer their talents. They perform a huge variety of live music that makes you want to sing along. Their programs are on several Friday afternoons at 3:30 p.m. on our outdoor stage in The Grove. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket. In case of inclement weather, the show will be moved to Busch Hall.

Sunday Night in Busch Hall programs include a wide variety of performers. These shows will take place in Busch Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m., and there is usually an opportunity to purchase ice cream before the show. Announcements begin at 6:45 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Twice this season we will be hosting special music events in Busch Hall, talent showcases that are presented by local talent agencies. These are also free of charge to our residents and offer an opportunity to hear a wide variety of entertainers and cast your vote for future talent bookings at Travelers Rest.

January through March is our Wednesday Evening Concert Series in Busch Hall, including top acts from across the country and an annual Spectacular. There is a small charge for Concert Series shows.

To find out what’s happening each week, check the website or watch for articles in the TR Times.

You can also find notices on bulletin boards throughout the park.
