Name Badges Reminder
A soft reminder to everyone at Travelers Rest to please wear your name badges. We want to make everyone feel welcome and one of the ways we can do that is to greet them by their name.
InTouch Communication System Update
InTouch Communication System for TR is expected to be live soon. Residents looking for the Activities schedule will find paper schedules posted at Busch Hall and in the Post Office.
Key Cards for Building/Pool Access
Key cards for access to the pool, Woodshop, and Paul Ruth Building will be placed in resident mailboxes with instructions around Dec 1st.
Laundry Center Hours
The laundry center in Busch Hall is closed Sunday mornings until 12 noon and Wednesday nights beginning at 6 PM when there is a concert in Busch Hall. Please observe the posted hours of operation.
Yard Sales in the Park
The board approved yard sales in the park to be held the third Saturday of December, January, and February as an experiment. The Flea Market will be held the first Saturday of every month as usual.
Board of Directory Seat Openings
A reminder that the Board of Directors is accepting resumes from shareholders/residents who have an interest in serving on the Board of Directors. Three director seats will be available, each are for a three-year term. Resumes are due to Sheila Schencke by November 30 and the confidentiality agreement is due by December 2nd.
Board Chat
The board will hold a Veranda Chat Monday, November 21 at 3pm in front of Busch Hall. The next Resident Forum is Monday, December 5th at 3pm in Busch Hall.
The Grove Stage
The stage in the Grove will soon be available.
TR Strategic Plan Update
At every meeting, the board reviews the progress towards completing the TR Strategic Plan. Presently, all objectives are on time and on track.
